Two things I did today. I started this project of paper punching out squares of my double sided scrap papers to cover up this window on our front door. I put a black out film on it that is supposed to make it so people can't see through it. BUT they still can. Solitictors come knocking on our door and look threw the window at us sitting on our couch trying to ignore them. Its so annoying when they look through my house. I have a NO SOLITICTING sign up too. urgh!
Well no more.. I used my Xyron to make the squares sticky. Best part is they are sticking to my black out film not the actual window so I won't have my glass getting all gooed up if I want to take it down. I ran out of Xyron sticky paper so I need to get more tomorrow. I plan on doing a few other artsy things to this once its done. Almost to make it look like a piece of art hanging on the door framed. hah!
Take that solitictors! (biggest annoyance if you ring my bell and you want ANYTHING from me, you are soliticing. Why don't they get that??? If you aren't my neighbor, pizza guy or mail person don't ring my bell ya know?)
At After Five Designs, I'm participating in their NSD festivities. I made this hybrid card with one of their kits called
Playtime. The fruit background paper is Basic Grey. The text
Alpha is Blk Glossy alphabet soup. (Shabby Pickle) I LOVE this card. Its for Logan's teacher at the end of the school year. I always give Logan's teacher a gift card at Christmas and the end of the year. This week is also Teacher appreciation week, but I'm going in with the other mom's on a big gift.
Logan is running a low grade fever. I'm hoping he's not getting sick. Three schools in our county are shutting down this week because of the Swine Flu. I'm sure if Logan is sick, he's getting the roto virus bug Leo's had all week. STINKS!!! But I am glad to know what sickness he is most likely getting. I have to go to the grocery tomorrow, but other than that I'll probably be watching way too much tv with both boys probably and doing laundry. Exciting! Hope everyone had a good weekend!
