I haven't had any time lately to work on anything crafty. Its been doctor visits, craziness, and insurance calls mainly around here. Oh yeah and there was that night Leo hit his head on the wall corner and it cut it open. No ER visit luckily, but still it was not a good night. I'm glad that one has passed. Poor kid he's a brave one, but is always getting hurt. I'm so afraid he's going to end up braking something one day like an arm or something. He's one of those types of boys..yes.. you know what I'm saying. All boy. All daring... All the time.
I've been keeping up with my 29 days of giving. Today I went and donated these books and one dvd to the library. I gave up the brand new Tim Holtz Compendium of Curiosities book I bought. I also gave up my copy of "My name is Memory" which I loved. I figured both I would not re-read anytime soon and I wanted to send out that possibility for someone else. Many more someone else's.
Day 6 also included me sending in my application finally for being a foster pug mom for pugs that need homes. I'm very hopeful they let me foster a pug. Maybe even two, who knows! I'm scared they won't, but I have to at least try to give a temporary home to a little pug.
Yesterday on Day 5 finally watched "The Cove" documentary. All I can say is my gosh... You have to watch it. Its on instant watch on Netflix right now. If you have Netflix there's no excuse!! Its really educational about what Japan is doing to our world's dolphins and want to do to our whales again. It wasn't easy to watch and I'm not going to forget about it. . Watch it. Really.

Well off to bed I go.. Some creative plans are a loomin'.

Aren't you a busy girl...doing all these neat days of giving...what a great idea! I have tons to give...I hoard too much...
I'll have to watch "The Cove"...I'm sure that it won't make me a happy camper:(
Ohhhhhhhhhhh sorry about your baby! Hope he is better soon! And good for you with donating the books! And I just looked up that movie... you are right... I need to see it! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
Ah yes, I remember my kids having a few run-ins with tables and wall corners when they were growing up. Beau and Reece had stitches for spilt eyebrows or a chin...oh yes, Reece a severely broken arm and Beau, a broken foot. Even Michelle had a run-in with a wall corner when she was a toddler...had an huge lump on her forehead but luckily, it didn't break the skin. Ah yes, the joys of motherhood...sigh...they sure like to keep us on our toes.
I'm glad Leo's injury wasn't too severe.
Greenpeace is desperately trying to keep Japan out of Australian waters as they come to hunt whales...it's heartbreaking! They do this under the guise of 'research'...what a crock! They don't need that many whales for research and funny how it ends up for sale at their markets. Thanks for the heads up re. The Cove. :)
hope Leo's head is healing fast and hope he stays away from all that in the coming year! thanks for sharing your giving stores. they are always inspiring to read! =)
Your Leo is my Melissa. She's always sporting a bruise, cut or scrape. LOL Sometimes I think she bumps into the air!!!
I don't know if I can watch The Cove. Certainly not with my middle daughter. She's a real softie when it comes to animals.
Proud of you giving to the library. That was a brave and selfless thing to do. You GO GIRL.
