Here's the card I made for the sketch. I am so excited to be getting all these Christmas cards done. I'll be having these puppies out by Nov 30th to send out this year! Oh yeah!
Pretty tired this morning. Leo decided 5:45 am was a good time to get up this morning. *yawn* Yesterday we took an imprompto trip to the zoo.
My itouch was not fully charged and I didn't have my camera, so I didn't get many pictures. We had a good time though. Leo liked everything than feeding the birds. They have lorikeets you can feed nectar to and they swarm you. I was holding the cup and I had like 5 or 6 of them on me. Leo freaked. He must have thought it was a scene like out of Hitchcock's "The Birds". I think when my zoo pass expires I'm going to get an aquarium pass again instead. Thanks for stopping by!

You should watch an old Hitchcock movie, the image of having a swarm on you kind of gives me the heebeejeebees too (I think I'd feel like your son).
Your card is so rich and vibrant, it is wonderful to see. Isn't it great to think about all the cards you'll have when December rolls around? I think so too!

your zoo pics are amazing. i kind of want to take mine from last summer (it was a dark/drizzly day? and run them through some p-shop filters and get the zany contrast/saturation thang goin' like your flamingoes have! (ps: the photo of you...well 1/6th of you...and leo is FAB!!!)
re the birds: yeah, if i was 3 and saw my mom bein' swarmed by birds i think it miiiiiiiiiiight kind of freak me out. wouldn't mind NOW, however!!!! ;) (KIDDING!!!!!!!!!) :) :) :)

I really like this card and I like the idea that you will have no stress at the end of the year when you have to send them out.
