journal. When the friend said this to me, I took it as a compliment. Then I thought about it more later and thought it was more supposed to be insulting. Really though I will continue to take it as a compliment. Mainly because why not? I mean I like songs because of their content. Its not all about the beat, or all about just that singer can do no wrong. Its about substance. To me lyrics in songs are like poetry and if I like listening to them and thinking of my own life, whats wrong with that? Of course this does not mean I don't have some Black Eyed Peas on my ipod just for gym music. I do like my heavy beat dance music for the gym.
Today I have to go meet mom friends for coffee, run Leo around all over town, and then go to class tonight. Too much! Tomorrow will be much calmer. My first calm day of the week. I love Thursdays.
Thanks for stopping by! Hope your Wednesday is more calm than mine and doesn't involve Elder Law like I have to deal with. ugh.. :)

dude! it's TOTALLY a compliment! it's also sort of puzzling to me, as it makes me wonder what *OTHER* ppl like about songs??! ok, yeah, the music part is nice and you make an excellent point about workout music especially, but the rockinest beat in the world would be CRAP if the song was about HITLER, no??!??!?! (on the other hand i'm not exactly the poster child for "mainstream fitting in" so take my thoughts with a grain of salt, lol!) :) :) :)
♥LOVE♥ this journal page, btw! you continue to be my digi-art heroine!!! (& my "analog" art heroine as well, for that matter!) ♥
