Yesterday I spent a good 3 hours outside on my back screened porch in the hot weather painting. Its really the only place I can paint at my house that is well lighted enough. Otherwise I can't see what the heck I'm doing with color. I really enjoyed it. I haven't painted in months. Above is a progress shot. I am hoping to work on it more tomorrow. I also have an old painting that I need to work on and fix where Leo took a marker to it and drew on it.
Here's a picture of all my paints I use. I have just some basic colors that I mix to get the colors I want. I need more white dang it! Have I mentioned I love oil paint? Today is the gym and later tonight is Elder Law. I really, really don't like my Elder Law class. I don't know which is worse at this point, Elder Law vs. Bankruptcy Law. :(

It didn't load properly for me, the pictures didn't show up...I kept trying...but to no avail! I'll pop back in here later!
I do agree though that you need good lighting to see what you're doing with colour mixing! soooooo importante!

i'm torn between wanting leo NOT to deface your paintings and thinking it's sorta cute that he probably is trying to "HELP" you b/c he's an artist too!!! :) :) :)
you know, when i've heard you mention elder law being a drag i've thought to myself, "well it CANNOT be as bad as bankruptcy law was, at least!!!" apparently i (mentally) spoke too soon? sorry, missus. on the plus side, the semester's like 1/3 over already and soon it will be OVER! (yay!)
