Emily Falconbridge prompt this week is grandmothers/Grandma.
Here's the page I made in my new art journal. Its nothing way out there. I like it though. It got down the story I wanted and it includes a newish picture I got this last Thanksgiving from my aunt. I had never seen this picture of my grandmother before. She's the baby in the photo. She had 3 older sisters. This was taken probably around 1907 or 1908. Its just a scanned copy. Not the original.

The owl was on this page in the smash book.
Blue feathers-from Lauren for Christmas. Thanks girlie!, Blue tattered angel's mist, ki polka dot ribbon, journey ribbon from Joanns, EK border punch. Inktense colored pencils to color owl. bubble wrap and green Tim holtz ink to make polka dot background. button-unknown.

Looks like a fun project! I'm looking forward to seeing your progress. I'm so jealous that you have such incredibly old photos of your family! Great page!
oh how COOL! still deciding if i'm "into" this emily f. project. i guess i should do a couple of them and see, eh?! it's foolish to be stuck on the fact i was hoping for a sort of solid prompt every week, right? this more fluid option might lead in directions i never considered! (in the meantime, i am LOVING what you've done!!!) (& i actually thought you drew that owl... he's sort of your style, isn't that a funny coincidence!!!) ♥
