Project life week 6

I finally finished this week's project life. It turned out okay. I'm slowly, but surely realizing I kinda liked doing the digital calendar's more. I am obviously going to stick with this for the year, but I think I will be switching back next year for sure.

Today I ran up to Target to get groceries and of course the new Breaking Dawn dvd! :) I can't wait to watch it again.

Here's the project life for this week.

I also made a new thing for my crafty storage. I wanted something to store my stickles in that made them upside down. We all know how annoying stickles can be when they are almost empty and you have to try to get the last bit out. So I made something~!
I took the polymer clay I had left over from old projects. (I always have clay around) and made these little different colored clay holders. You can put three in each one I made. Each color is a full block of clay. I baked them at 265 in the oven to harden just like the package says. I made the indention into the clay with the stickle's bottle before baking so it would fit perfectly.

Each block of clay is around 99 cents to 1.50. Depending on sale and location. I try to buy them on sale at around 99 cents or I don't buy them. lol. Make sure to get the "soft" not "classic", as it makes it much easier with the brand FIMO, or the Sculptey is all good to work with.

Here are the pics.
I've got room to buy one more Stickles. lol. Some of these also are almost out of glitter/glue.

Well thats all for today. I'm beat. This weekend has been full of getting things done. Nice.

Thanks for stopping by!

now that is a BRILLIANT use of your clay stash to solve a problem we all have when it comes to stickles!!!!!!!!

i can see where project life would be in some ways less satisfying than the digi calendars to make... but... SELFISHLY, i love seeing what you're doing this year... (ok, but i loved the calendars too actuallY!) ...and the thing i loooooove about PL being "real" is that you can incorporate all of the things *I* tend to save\ like pretty bits of packaging or cards that come in the mail or receipts or whatever... the sort of "real life" BITS that accumulate & obsess me!!!! :) :) :) (pleeeeeeeeeease don't use this confession to bust me to the folks at A&E, i really don't wanna be the star of a very special episode of hoarders, lol!) :) :) :)
