I've read a few people on Facebook and such that are upset with how much attention Whitney Houston got from dying and others don't. I was heartbroken to hear she died. I wasn't a die hard fan. I didn't own all her albums, but I grew up listening to her. I watched her movies and loved them. I appreciated her for what she stood for as an idol for young girls. Everyone makes mistakes, and her's messed up her life. Drugs do that to people. It doesn't mean it erases all the good you did in your life. Not to me. I just wanted to document that here. I want to keep a kind heart always.
I haven't gotten as much done craft wise as I'd like this week. I am getting ready to start a project for storing emergency supplies. I saw this on Pinterest and realized that I really need to do this, incase of a zombie attack for this coming up hurricane season.

ok, see, living in nj, outside the main hurricane zone, i would not have necessarily prepared an emergency stash for that--but a *ZOMBIE ATTACK* seems increasingly likely under chris christie's gubernatorial rule, so i'd better get cracking!!!!!! (though i always make sure to have bottled water, tp, wet wipes, candles & batteries... so i guess i kind of UNCONSCIOUSLY prepared!!!) (i am thinking you're as hooked as jeff is on "the walking dead" on amc??! he is a FIEND for it, especially now he's figured out that he can watch it "on demand" & not have to stay up late--which for him is past 9pm, lol!!!)
as for your PL week... as usual, i'm a-swoonin' over here. i like that you are including so much "every day" stuff like shopping, entertainment choices, etc; and especially meaningful current events! (how much would i give to have something like this from either of my grandmothers, or jeff's, or my dad, etc! or just to have a book of my own to look back on from 1985!) sooooooooooooo cool, both as an idea and also aesthetically, since everything you do has CO MUCH STYLE!!!!!!!!! ♥♥♥
I hear zombies can be difficult so best to be prepared! I'm with you on the whole Whitney thing. There are so many 'pointless' celebs so we really should make a fuss when a genuinely talented one leaves us. Great project life pics, Jo x

I have a lot to catch up on I see. Your Project life pages look great, and I feel the same way about Whitney.
As for zombies, I haven't ever had an emergency stash before as we are not in a severe weather area but you have me thinking now mmmmmm, maybe I had better get ready for the attack LOL.
